CBI Bank & Trust VISA® $250 Gift Card Sweepstakes
January 13, 2025 through March 9, 2025
Summary: Open a new personal or business checking account at CBI Bank & Trust from Monday, January 13, 2025 through Sunday, March 9, 2025 (“Contest Entry Period”) for a chance to win a $250 VISA® Gift Card (retail value $250). Eight prizes will be awarded at participating locations. An entry automatically occurs for each person and business entity who opens a new checking account during the Contest Entry Period. There is a limit of one entry per person (for personal accounts) and one entry per organization (for business accounts). A minimum deposit of $25 is required to open a checking account; other minimums, fees and conditions may apply depending on the type of account selected. The chances of winning a prize are based on the number of eligible entries received at the various locations. Prizes are non-transferrable and may not be exchanged or redeemed for cash or credit.
Official Contest Rules and Regulations
To Enter: There are two (2) ways to enter the Sweepstakes during the Contest Entry Period. 1) Automatic Entry: One entry into the drawing automatically occurs upon opening a new personal or business checking account at a participating CBI Bank & Trust location, and entries will be assigned to the drawing for the participating location where the account is opened. For personal accounts, one entry will be made jointly in the name(s) of all primary owners of the account. For business accounts, one entry will be made in the name of the legal entity which owns the account. 2) To Enter Without Purchase: Send a 3” x 5” card with your name, mailing address and phone number clearly and legibly written thereon to: 10.9-inch Apple iPad® Contest, CBI Bank & Trust, 301 Iowa Avenue, Muscatine, Iowa 52761. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by the last day of the Contest Entry Period and received by the third business day following that date in order to be eligible. There is a limit of one entry per person and mail-in entries must be sent in a postmarked, stamped envelope. All mail-in entries will be automatically assigned to the Muscatine, IA Downtown office prize drawing.
Entrants may enter only by using one of the entry methods described in these rules. Entries that are mechanically reproduced, copied, illegible, incomplete, or inaccurate are void. Entries become the property of CBI Bank & Trust and will not be acknowledged or returned. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.
Participating Locations: Eighteen CBI Bank & Trust locations are participating in this Contest. They are: 1) Buffalo Prairie, IL Office; 2) Coralville, IA Office; 3) Davenport, IA Downtown Office; 4) Davenport, IA Paul Revere Square Office; 5) Kalona, IA Office; 6) Muscatine, IA Downtown Office; 7) Muscatine, IA Hy-Vee Super Bank; 8) Muscatine, IA Park Avenue Office; 9) Walcott, IA Office; 10) Washington, IA Office; 11) Wilton, IA Office; 12) Joy, IL Office; 13) Davenport, IA East Village Office; 14) Bettendorf, IA Office; 15) Beloit, WI Office; 16) Moline, IL Office; 17) Buffalo, IA Office; 18) Roscoe, IL Office
For the purpose of conducting a drawing and awarding a prize; the following offices will be combined and considered a single location to one prize - Buffalo Prairie, Joy and Muscatine Downtown Offices; the Muscatine Park Avenue and Hy-Vee Offices will be one prize; the Wilton and Walcott Offices will be one prize; the Washington, Kalona, and Coralville Offices will be one prize; the Downtown Davenport, East Village, Davenport, and Buffalo Offices will be one prize; the Bettendorf and Paul Revere Square, Davenport Offices will be one prize, Roscoe, IL and Beloit, WI will be one prize, and Moline, IL Office will be one prize for a total of eight prizes in all.

Eligibility: The Contest is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of . Void where prohibited by law. Employees, directors and officers, and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside), and their respective household members, whether or not related, of Central Bancshares, Inc., CBI Bank & Trust, CBI Investment Services, and affiliated companies are not eligible to enter. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Contest Entry Period: The Contest Entry Period begins at the start of business on Monday, January 13, 2025 and ends at the close of business on Sunday, March 9, 2025.
Drawings, Determination & Notification of Winners: Random drawings will be held on or shortly after Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from all entries received during the Contest Entry Period for each participating location. They will be conducted under the auspices of CBI Bank & Trust, the contest sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding on matters relating to this promotion. CBI Bank & Trust will notify the winners by U.S. mail and/or telephone immediately following the drawing.
Odds: Actual odds of winning a prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Entry Period which are attributable to each participating location.
Prizes: $250 VISA® Gift Card (retail value $250) will be awarded to the first eligible entry drawn for each participating location.
Prize Pick-Up & Unclaimed Prizes: All prizes must be picked up by winners, at their expense, at the banking location at which they are awarded within three (3) weeks of notification that a prize has been won. Valid photo identification will be required to claim all prizes. Unless other arrangements are made, any prizes which are not claimed during the specified period will not be awarded and will be retained by the bank for further disposition as it sees fit.
Prize Restrictions & Expense: All prizes are awarded on an as-is, where-is basis. Excepting the choice of color and case size as described in the “Prizes” paragraph above, no substitutions are permitted except when an item is no longer available from the manufacturer or vendor. In such cases, the bank reserves the right to substitute an item with an equivalent retail value. Any expenses related to the acceptance or use of a prize are the sole responsibility of the recipient. This includes but is not limited to taxes (if applicable) and to any expenses associated with pick-up/delivery, ownership and use of the prize.
Prize Claim: Winner will be notified by a traceable method of delivery, and where required, will need to sign for the delivery.
Additional Terms: By participating, entrants agree: a) to abide by the Official Rules, which shall be final in all respects; and b) to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless CBI Bank & Trust, and its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, and employees, from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of their participation in the Contest and the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize. By accepting a prize, winner agrees to CBI Bank & Trust’s and its designees’ use of his/her name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation and, upon request, will provide consent to such use in writing.
Limitation of Liability: CBI Bank & Trust is not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any related materials, or for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible, or postage-due mail or entries. CBI Bank & Trust reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the drawing as determined by CBI Bank & Trust in its sole discretion. This Contest is governed by laws of the United States with venue in Muscatine, Iowa, for the resolution of all claims and disputes.
